Why Sanctuary?

Have you ever played the game where you try to use one word to describe yourself? I was challenged by a friend many years ago to pick the one word that would best describe what you want your business to be and after countless hours of agonizing; Sanctuary is what struck.

Massage

Most people when they think of sanctuary they either think of church, or a personal space. A sanctuary is a safe haven, a place of peace, comfort and protection. As a massage therapist and esthetician the peace, protection and safety is what I want offer to my clients. I want sanctuary to become, if only for a few hours at a time, a healing shelter where you can just relax and be free of the pressures and stress that the world piles on you.
